The Interim Committee on Disaster Recovery will look at the ongoing efforts in the affected areas of Missouri and research how the State can better aid in the immediate recovery process and will submit a report to the legislature by July 31, 2011. The committee will also submit to the legislature by December 31, 2011, a comprehensive report detailing ways the State can aid in the rebuilding process and examine setting up a long term infrastructure to be better prepared for future natural disasters.
